Barack Obama rejected John McCain's call Wednesday to delay Friday's debate because of the economic crisis.
Sarah Palin, in her introduction to Americans as John McCain's running mate, struck back at news organizations and a "Washington elite" that have raised questions about her qualifications to be vice president.

Randy,
You'll need to check your history because, in fact, you DID sell yourselves and your wives into slavery. The tribal leaders sold off their own people to the whites for slavery frequently. But you know, that was long before you or I were born. I don't think the cartoon was intended to be racist, however I do think they should've given more consideration to it being offensive, especially with our new president. I also think that we are a country that concentrates too much on what offends us. It's why we can't get ANYTHING accomplished that benefits the majority.
